Old world craftsmanship made in California
We create unique high quality hardwood floggers, canes, and stingers. The items that we offer are custom made and we specialize in very rare and unique woods. We hand select both the wood and buffalo our products are made with. We take great pride in being able to offer these amazing pieces to you and take the utmost care to honor the soul of the tree and the being from which they came.

One must experience the sensuality of wood and leather to get a full understanding of how majestic and grounding the experience is. No other substance has the unique qualities and warmth that wood has to offer. Wood and leather have a living history that should be honored and experienced, and we can think of no better way than to allow our bodies to be able to be touched by these noble beings.
We start with hand selected wood and leather. Our wood is sourced based on its unique qualities and color while the Buffalo hide is hand selected based on its softness and flexibility. Once the hide and been cut into sections to make the falls they are wrapped, glued and set aside for the handles. The raw wood is turned on the lathe and meticulously sanded to 600 grit and hand finished with Odie’s Oil.
Each piece is unique in that we don’t work from a pattern; the shape of each handle shows itself in the turning process.
The items made from these woods can be so unique that their patterns are unbelievable. We work with common to very exotic species and have amassed a large collection of collectors grade specimens that may never again be seen on the market. Regardless of how common or unique the wood we use, we still hand select each piece for color, pattern, figure and uniqueness.
Since we hand pick our wood, we pay premium prices for premium selections, often having them custom milled to our specifications. This ensures our ability to offer the highest quality product from the best selections of wood on the market. Our finishing techniques strive to provide a finish that is both visually sensual and a pleasure to touch.

Regarding the name Esoteric Body and use of the Vesica Piscis symbol.
The esoteric body refers to a non-physical or subtle aspect of human existence that is central to many spiritual, mystical, and metaphysical traditions. It’s often described as a multidimensional or energetic counterpart to the physical body, serving as the medium through which consciousness, spirit, and universal energies interact with the material world.
Esoteric Body: Core Concepts Across Traditions
1. Energy Bodies
- Etheric Body: Closest to the physical body; often seen as the “life force” or vital energy blueprint.
- Astral Body: Associated with emotions and dreams; believed to be the vehicle for out-of-body experiences.
- Mental Body: Tied to thought processes and intellect.
- Causal Body: Often connected to karma and the soul’s higher purpose.
- Spiritual Body: The highest vibrational layer, representing union with the divine or universal consciousness.
2. Chakras and Nadis (Hindu/Yogic Traditions)
- Chakras: Spinning energy centers along the spine, each corresponding to physical, emotional, and spiritual functions.
- Nadis: Energy channels through which life force (prana) flows; the most well-known are ida, pingala, and sushumna.
3. Kabbalistic View (Jewish Mysticism)
- The sefirot on the Tree of Life can be mapped onto aspects of the body and soul.
- Includes layers like nefesh (vital soul), ruach (spirit), and neshama (divine soul).
4. Theosophical and Anthroposophical Views
- Propose detailed hierarchies of subtle bodies and planes of existence.
- Talk about the etheric, astral, mental, and buddhic bodies as stages of spiritual evolution.
5. Alchemy and Hermeticism
- Often describe the esoteric body in symbolic terms, such as the Philosopher’s Stone, Body of Light, or Solar Body—spiritual vehicles developed through inner work and transformation.
Symbolism and Purpose
- Bridge between body and soul: The esoteric body acts as the interface between the dense physical realm and the higher, spiritual dimensions.
- Tool for inner work: Cultivating awareness of the esoteric body is central to many meditative, magical, or spiritual practices aimed at transformation, healing, and enlightenment.
- Vehicle for afterlife or transcendence: Many traditions believe the esoteric body continues after physical death, enabling travel or existence in other realms.
Vesica Piscis: Core Concepts Across Traditions
The Vesica Piscis is a geometric shape formed by the intersection of two circles with the same radius, where the center of each circle lies on the circumference of the other. The overlapping area—the almond or eye-shaped space in the center—is what’s called the vesica piscis.
Symbolism & Meaning:
Feminine Symbol: Sometimes interpreted as a symbol of the womb or divine feminine.
Sacred Geometry: It’s a foundational form in sacred geometry, symbolizing the intersection of the spiritual and material worlds, or the union of opposites.
Christian Iconography: Often used in religious art, especially as a frame for depictions of Christ or the Virgin Mary (mandorla).
Mathematics and Architecture: Used historically in Gothic architecture and various esoteric traditions for its harmonic proportions.
The infusion of symbolic references into these objects is an important aspect of their creation. The alchemy of the materials used to create these instruments, and the participants of the energy exchange during their use, is core to their purpose.
