Purpleheart Cane

Description

This cane is made with Purpleheart, a tree that grows in Central and South America. Freshly cut the heartwood can be a dull grayish/purplish brown. Upon exposure—usually within a few days—the wood becomes a deeper eggplant purple. With further age and exposure to UV light, the wood becomes a dark brown with a hint of purple. The shaft of the cane is made with walnut. The handle is 7″ in length and has a 5/8″shaft diameter with an overall length of 33.5″.
